RIVER CLOSURES!
Most coastal wild Steelhead runs are expected to return below escapement targets as they have the past four seasons and have failed to meet management objectives. In-season information and increased concern for meeting conservation objectives has led to a closure in coastal rivers where escapement goals are unlikely to be met. Please refer to Quinault Indian Nation at https://www.quinaultindiannation.com/fishingregs.htm for updated regulations.
The Lower Quinault river is home to spectacular Chinook and Silver Salmon in the fall and unparalleled Steelhead fishing in the winter months. Our front yard boasts the Tribal boat launch for the Quinault Indian Nation. The parking lot and grounds offer plenty of space for fishing enthusiasts to park their boats overnight and be ready for early morning departures to the area's great rivers.
To fish the lower river, you are required to be accompanied by a Quinault Tribal member, so we encourage you to consider the Tribal Fishing Guides listed below if you wish to fish the river. Call for a current list of guides.
